Horsham Battle of the Bands - Winners!

Horsham Battle of the Bands was founded in 1993 and has been running ever since. Most of that time it was organised by the now disbanded HDLMA - The Horsham District Live Music Alliance. In 2013, it was nearly scrapped but survived after being revamped by a sub-committee of the HDLMA set up specifically to keep the competition going. At a meeting in 2017, it was formally agreed with the HDLMA that once they had disbanded later that year, the remaining members of the sub-committee would continue to organise Horsham BotB annually as an independent entity moving forward. Since then it has been the responsibility of that entity alone to keep the long-standing competition going and protect it's legacy. The 2019 event was part of Horsham Festival as well as a Horsham District Year of Culture 2019 fringe event. In 2020 we defied the odds and managed to stage the competition safely between lockdowns with a Covid safe event plan in place. 2022 marked the 30th anniversary of the competition. Horsham Battle of the Bands is a non-profit event that costs a lot of money to stage properly and continues to provide a professional live music environment for up and coming bands and artists of all ages, as well as fantastic entertainment for all who attend.
